Welcome to the Museum of Art, Kochi
[ Japanese / English ]
The Museum of Art, Kochi was established in Kochi City in 1993. We hold excellent art works by both domestic and foreign artists; Marc Chagall, expressionists, neo-expressionists, and other celebrated artists with connections to Kochi Prefecture. The Museum Hall, with a seating capacity of 399, also functions as a Noh stage. The hall holds approximately 15 shows a year, with genres ranging from dance, theatre, film, and concert. In recent years, we have produced performances by various artists connected to Kochi Prefecture, and other uniquely distinguished performing artists from around the world.
