Admission:
Permanent Exhibition: Adult (18 years old or older): 460 yen/Group (20 or more people): 360 yen
Special Exhibition: Adult (18 years old or older): 510 yen/Group (20 or more people): 410 yen
  • ※ including visiting permanent exhibition
  • ※ Every year, the admission is free on May 3 as it is the “Historical Folklore Day” Free of Admission:
    Admission for special exhibition is separately required.

Students under senior high school age, Kochi prefecture or city’s long life passbook holders, and a care person and a holder of handicapped person’s passbook, war injury/sick person passbook and/or atomic bomb survivor healthcare passbook

  • ※ There is no public transportation from JR Gomen Station
  • ※ Along with Prefectural Road 384 (Old National Road 32)
Route Bus - Getting on from Harimaya-bashi Stop, Kochi Station Minamiguchi (south exit), and other stops
  • Take a bus for Ryoseki, Naro or Tai and get off at Gakko-bunki Stop (entrance of the museum) Stop. Approx. 10 min. by foot from there (1~2 buses an hour)

Facilities for babies and elderly people
- 3 buggies, 4 wheelchairs, 2 carts for elderly people to push
※ Equipped at the security office on the 1st floor or reception desk on the 2nd floor

- Diaper-changing table (in multipurpose restroom on the 2nd floor and in the nursing room on the 1st floor)
Nursing Room (back of resting space on the 1st floor) is available for nursing babies
