Kochi Prefectural Museum of History:Home > Permanent Exhibition
The permanent exhibition was renewed on April 10, 2010. On the 2nd floor, “The Chosokabe Exhibition Room” was newly established to introduce details about Chosokabe clan. On the 3rd floor in general display room, the exhibited materials have been largely changed, featuring exhibiting and introducing history, culture and life of people in Tosa (Kochi) region in various perspectives.
Materials related to Chosokabe family and national historical ruins/Oko Castle ruins are exhibited. Recreation of the headquarters of Chosokabe forces at the Battle of Awa-Nakatomigawa is set in the middle of the room, from which visitors can feel the atmosphere of the Periods of Warring States.
